A Cooperation Protocol was Signed Between Our University and Bandırma Chief Public Prosecutor's Office

A cooperation protocol was signed between our university and the Bandırma Public Prosecutor's Office in order for the convicts and detainees and institution personnel in Bandırma Open Penal Institution, Bandırma M Type Closed Penal Institution, Bandırma No. 1 T Type Closed Penal Institution and Bandırma No. 2 T Type Closed Penal Institution affiliated with the General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses of the Ministry of Justice to make the most efficient use of their time in the institution.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, Bandırma Public Prosecutor Cüneyt Demirdaş, Prison Public Prosecutor Anıl Cem Turhan, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel, our Secretary General, Bandırma Open Penal Institution Director Serdar Mengüaslan, M Type Closed Penal Institution Director Adem Bulut, No. 1 T Type Closed Penal Institution Director Abdulkadir Özkan and No. 2 T Type Closed Penal Institution Director Şenol Saklı attended the protocol signing ceremony held in the Farabi Meeting Hall.

The signed protocol aims to accelerate the rehabilitation process of convicts and detainees by organizing activities such as education and training activities, social-cultural and sports activities, vocational courses and health screenings for voluntary convicts and detainees in penal institutions.
