SANTEK Delegation Visited BANU TTO

Balıkesir Industry and Technology Cooperation Board (SANTEK) delegation consisting of representatives from Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology, KOSGEB Balıkesir Provincial Directorate, İŞKUR Balıkesir Provincial Directorate and South Marmara Development Agency visited Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Technology Transfer Office (BANÜ-TTO). The meeting was hosted by BANÜ TTO A.Ş. General Manager Dr. M. Cem ALDAĞ.

During the meeting, the importance of establishing a sustainable and effective cooperation between universities and industry was emphasized. Information was given about the activities and projects carried out by BANÜ TTO. In addition, ideas were exchanged on how to use R&D and innovation supports more efficiently and how to transfer these supports to stakeholders and public institutions. Opinions were shared on the work plans to be prepared on national, regional and provincial basis and the follow-up of the activities to be carried out within these plans.

This visit is seen as a valuable step towards finding common solutions to the challenges faced by the academic and industrial sectors and contributing to the regional and national economy. Further strengthening university-industry cooperation is of great importance for both education and economic development.
