SANTEK Delegation Visited Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University to Strengthen University-Industry Cooperation

A delegation consisting of representatives from Balıkesir Industry and Technology Cooperation Board (SANTEK), Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology, Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of KOSGEB, Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of İŞKUR, South Marmara Development Agency and Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Technology Transfer Office (BANÜ-TTO) visited Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman Özdemir.

At the meeting, the importance of establishing a sustainable and effective cooperation between universities and industry was emphasized and information was given about the work of the Board. Ideas were exchanged on how R&D and innovation supports can be used more efficiently and how they can be transferred to stakeholders and public institutions. In addition, opinions were shared on the work plans to be prepared on national, regional and provincial basis and the follow-up of the activities to be carried out within the framework of these plans.
